Essentialise Workplace Wellbeing Bring Their Accredited Training Programmes Online to Boost Employee Wellbeing

We are facing a challenging time as we deal with the turbulence caused by the COVID-19 outbreak. For many employees, they are experiencing the freedom and the difficulties of remote working while in social isolation. For many managers and leaders, they are having to adapt to keeping their teams engaged and working efficiently from a distance. To assist companies with managing the wellbeing of their workforce, Essentialise Workplace Wellbeing has taken three of their accredited workshops online, allowing employees to access these and bolster their mental health in the current climate.

Courses Offered By Essentialise

Essentialise currently offers six training programmes to support wellbeing at work. Outlined below are the three courses which have been adapted and brought online in response to the coronavirus.

Physical Activity in the Workplace

An informative and interactive session for employees to learn how they can build more activity into their working day. They learn about exercise guidelines, types of exercise, how to reduce sedentary behaviour, and much more. Includes a module on exercise and movement within the home.

Healthy Eating in the Workplace

A workshop style session covering the fundamentals of how to enjoy a balanced, nutritious diet to feel better and have a great day at work. This course address common diet myths, the impact of nutrition on performance, as well as hints and tips for the working day. An additional unit has been added on nutrition while working remotely.

Mental Health Awareness for Managers

Stress and poor mental health can have incredibly adverse effects on the workforce. Learn how to instigate open conversations, adopt the five ways to wellbeing and signpost your team if they require further support. A new section has been added on wellbeing while managing remote teams.

What makes Essentialise Different?

Essentialise Workplace Wellbeing prides itself on the fact that they also run leadership and management training on building wellbeing strategies and a culture of health awareness. This gives organisations the ability to plan, to measure and to embed wellbeing as part of the organisation itself, building champions and communities that organically boost the overall health of your workforce.

Our two new UK accredited courses.

Just before the pandemic struck, Essentialise’s two new courses, Mental Health Awareness for Managers, and Healthy Eating in the Workplace received accreditation from the CPD and the Workplace Wellbeing Charter. Designed to be delivered physically, with digital elements to help embed the programme, they have been adapted to be delivered online, with a renewed focus on the challenges of good nutrition while isolated, and the challenges of managing a team remotely.
