Barbara M. Schuck. I became a mother to my special needs son on Feb. 18, 1995. Life challenges began for myself and advocating for my son. My book Jared’s Path is a true story from birth to 17 years old. My second book will be coming soon to cover 18 years and beyond. The medical issues and life changes that is needed to go down this path needs to be understood and awareness to special needs children needs to be made. This story will do both. This is an uplifting and inspirational book. Besides being a mother, I am also a wife, foster mom and business owner. I also like to go on walks and paint ceramics when I can.
