Blame It On Revere! is a captivating children’s picture book that offers an insightful look at New Hampshire’s early role in the American Revolution. When the Sons of Liberty learned that the British would head to Portsmouth, New Hampshire to collect munitions at Fort William and Mary, Paul Revere rode ahead to warn them. The New Hampshire men hid their ammunition inland, thereby thwarting the British plot; an event that for many, marked the true starting point of the war for independence. Angela Welch is a retired NH teacher of 44 years. She received her BS in elementary and Special Education at Keene State College, Keene, NH and her M.Ed. from Notre Dame College, Manchester, NH as a Reading and Writing Specialist. When not writing, she enjoys reading, hunting for Depression glass and traveling, especially to historical sites. Angela is married, has three grown children and four grandchildren. She currently resides in the Merrimack Valley in northeastern Massachusetts.
